    Each potential Member (Admiral & Captain) is required to pass an approved Safe Powerboat Handling Class of 6 hours and an additional 4 hours of on-the-water training, or show satisfactory proof of boating competency to a Pacific Yachting Club (PYC) representative.

    Membership approval is subject to the sole discretion of PYC. Membership Price is nonrefundable once Member is accepted by PYC.

    Dues & Payments:

    Member agrees to pay dues each month. Member Dues will not be raised for two (2) years from the date of acceptance into PYC. Thereafter, dues may be adjusted from time-to-time within the sole discretion of PYC. Applicant authorizes PYC to charge Cash Down Payment to credit card listed above. Once accepted for membership, Member authorizes PYC to charge Membership Price, monthly dues, and other applicable fees and charges to the credit card listed above.

    Cancellation of Membership:

    Members may cancel membership by giving 30 days advance written notice to PYC. Member is required to pay all existing dues, fees, costs and charges through the effective date of cancellation. The Membership Price is not refundable upon cancellation of membership by Member.

    Membership Termination by PYC:

    PYC reserves the right to cancel any membership at any time for non-payment of dues, fees, costs or other charges, or for conduct that is detrimental to the orderly operation of PYC, or the safety and well-being of its members, staff, vessels or other property.

    The Membership Price is not refundable upon cancellation of membership by PYC for any of the foregoing reasons.

    Insurance:

    Subject to the terms and conditions of the Membership Agreement, Member shall be liable in the event of loss of or damage to vessels, equipment or property up to the amount of PYC’s insurance deductible of $2,500.

    Membership Subject to Membership Agreement and PYC Rules and Regulations:

    All Members and memberships are subject to the terms and conditions of the PYC Membership Agreement, which must be executed by Member before being eligible to use or operate vessels. All memberships are subject to PYC’s applicable Rules and Regulations.
